BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hereford & Worcester

This is a 20th century cast bronze horizontal dial, octagonal in shape and measuring about 320mm across. It has aligned Roman numerals read from outside, IV - XII - IV - VIII. ’Stub’ hour marks but no subdivisions. 8-point compass rose at centre, labelled to NE etc. All furniture is raised. Gnomon pierced to provide curlicued support. Octagonal column and mount of stone, to match dial.
