BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Painswick Pharmacy, Painswick

High on the wall above shop. Restored 2007 by H James. Upright Roman numerals IIII - XII - III, with hour lines to circle around gnomon root, and half hour lines. The area above the gnomon contained a motto, not decipherable and currently left empty. Declines 40 deg E.
