BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Old Port Bar, Burntisland

The dial declines approx South 20 deg East. It is one of three dials around the corner, above the ground floor windows. White upright Arabic numerals 5am to 4pm, with full length hour lines, and half and quarter hours marked. Brass bar gnomon with substyle bar and curlicue support. Motto above ’TIME FLIES’.
