In the recreation ground not far from Fairfield First School is a steel horizontal dial about 2000mm high. It has emblems of local rural industry on the sides of the gnomon. Arabic hour numerals read from inside 6 - 12 - 6, on steel squares set in gravel circle with brick surround. Designed and made by Paul Margetts of Forging Ahead, Stourbridge, Worcs. There is an inscription which reads, ’Erected by the Parish Council to commemorate the Millennium 2000 and completed June 28th 2002.’
