BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

’Cross Trees’, Sutton Courtenay

A vertical declining dial is painted on a wood or metal panel with blue background and gold lettering. It measures about 915mmh x 610mmw and shows the hours VIII - II. The gnomon arises from a sun quadrant at the upper left corner of the dial plate. The dial is set on a sill and has a protective strip above it.
