BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

’Pitfour’, Kington

This unusual modern declining vertical dial is formed from an arc of ceramic tiles fixed to the wall of the house. There are no hour lines apart from a radial line on each tile and though the tiles carry no numerals, they probably represent the hours 7am to 2pm. The iron gnomon has a ’top-hat’ tip. The setting is somewhat spoiled by the presence of a drainpipe.
