BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

Aligned Roman hour numerals IIII - III, with cross patte for noon, and half hours (short line and dot) and quarters (alternate shading in border). Date (1641) along top. Coat of Arms in centre for Sir Thomas Barrington and second wife Judith Lytton. Hanging spider and fly below. No gnomon. Kept indoors. Originally installed in Highworth House and owned by the Warneford family. Ref: BSS Bull 18(i) pp 41-47 (2006).
