BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

Signed at south, read from north, ’G Adams, LONDON’, probably the younger. 8-point compass labelled to NW etc. Aligned Roman hour numerals read from outside IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, with noon gap. Inner ring divided to quarter and half hours, outer ring in 2-minutes, labelled to 20’s in Arabic. Solid gnomon 9.4 to 9.6 thick, sigmoidal N edge with step. Not mounted; kept inside.
