BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Clwyd Area

Dial plate recently found in attic (2007). May never have been set up outside. Aligned Roman hour numerals read from inside IIII - XII - IIII - VIII with split noon. 30, 15 and 5 minute intervals shown in outer ring. 8-point compass rose labelled to NW etc. Motto on south, read from the south ’I only mark the shining hours’.
