BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

Glazed ceramic dial with slip motto and numerals. Made by Roger Kistruck (engineer/potter), Hall Rd, Long Melford. Rectangular dial in light blue with dark blue furniture and gold/yellow edges. Motto at top ’AESTATE VERUM’ (’True to Summer’?). Upright Arabic hour numerals 8 - 1 - 6, with half length hour lines, that for 1pm being widened to a rectangle for the noon gap. Access by written invitation after writing to owner’s address.
