BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hereford & Worcester

Aligned Roman hour numerals, read from outside, IV - XII - IV - VIII, with 30, 15 and 5 minute marks. No hour lines except in chapter ring apart from full length line VI - VI. The chapter ring hour lines precede (am) or follow (pm) the hour numerals. The gnomon toe is at the centre of the plate, with hour line centre holes at the toe. Motto in the S part of the chapter ring, read from the N, "THE SUN TO RULE THE DAY". Unusual EoT table in the S interior of the plate, read from the W, headed "Add 3 minutes for Greenwich time". It shows even minutes corrections only, in one central column, with dates Dec 26 to June 14 from bottom to top on the left, and June 4 to Dec 26 from top to bottom on the right, with blocks of dates indicating ’ADD’ or ’SUBTRACT’.
