BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

South Lodge, Clearwell nr Coleford

Gardens open on NGS days. ’Garden-centre’ type dial, not observed closely. Roman hour numerals 4am to 8pm. Curved gnomon of ’knuckle-duster’ design. 8-point compass rose. Baluster pedestal column (approx 900h) with decorated circular mount stone approx 450 dia, on small circular plinth stone.
