BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Millennium Green, Ardleigh

Human gnomon analemmatic dial, showing BST, with hour markers and foot baseplate in bronze. Even hours marked in Roman numerals on long oblong plates which also show scenes from the life of the village. Odd hours are marked on intermediate discs showing the Millennium Green logo. Baseplate has months Jan, ..., Dec marked, with dividing lines, and Mar & Sep equinox points indicated by a central small circle and arrow-head markers. Designers: Even hour plates Peter Lister; odd hour plates Keith Mirams; Base Plate - pupils at St Mary’s Primary School.
