BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Saltburn Gallery, Saltburn-by-the-Sea

An equatorial dial mounted on diagonal corner of building with other ornamental metalwork. Structure made from strips, angle-strips and sheet, like giant Meccano. No numerals, but peaks of saw-tooth cuts on hour polar ring represent hour marks, 6am - 6pm. Plate on building indicates "Sponsored by the National Lottery through the Arts Council of England".
