BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
This 914mm square vertical S dial is painted on the wall recessed in a frame measuring 1500mm square. It shows the hours VI - VI in 30, 15 and 5 minute divisions. The hour lines end at a semicircle round the gnomon root.The iron gnomon has a curved support. It is a plain and functional dial without decoration.
