BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Richmond House, Caversham

This lozenge shaped dial just below the roof line of the house is about 230mm square and is possibly of slate. It is not in good condition but appears to have a face at the top and some faint initials below. Faint Roman hour numerals (IV, XII, VIII) can be seen with Arabic numerals nearer the centre. There are hour lines but no subdivisions. The house faces roughly SSE but the gnomon is vertical.
