BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Nicholas’ Church, Wilden

Gnomon only remains, formed of strip iron in rectangle form with wave-shaped inside edge. Situated high and centrally on W face of tower, above main window. May have been bent from normal ’perpendicular’ position. Set at an angle of approx 50 deg, so most likely a gnomon.
