BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

Gothic Arabic aligned hour numerals 4 - 12 - 8. Hour lines with split noon and 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 hour divisions. 8-point compass rose. Date 1623 at foot of gnomon, with motto below ’Ye may waste but cannot stop me’. The dial was originally at Frinton-on-Sea, and brought to this location by current owner. It is not secured to its plinth. There is the imprint of a smaller dial in the cement filling of the plinth top, with some damage.
