BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Deene Park (1), Deene

The dial is on the north wall of the courtyard. Across the top is "ANNO DOM MDCCLXIX". There is a sunburst around gnomon root, black above, orange below. 500 mm iron gnomon with toothed lower edge, attractive curlicue infill to support. The dial declines approx 5 deg west. Roman numerals upright but (unusually) aligned, VI - XII - IIII - V. Minute divisions not discernible - paint is fading. Illustrated in ’Sundials of the British Isles’, Cowham.
