BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Eccleston

This vertical south-facing dial, dated some time in the 1700s, is mounted on the parapet of the church nave. The unsupported rod gnomon is probably made of iron. Information to date indicates that there is also one definite and one doubtful mass dial on the church.
