BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
A horizontal bronze dial. Roman hour numerals read from inside IV - XII - IIII - VIII with noon gap. Inside chapter ring, divided to 30 and 15 mins. Without, to 30, 10 and 5, the 10s labelled Arabic read from inside. Central sun face, surrounded by ’Make time, save time while times last. All time is no time when time is past.’
