BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Stromness Museum, Stromness

The dial was made for the lighthouse on Sule Skerry, a rock about 45 miles NE of Cape Wrath. Long W042430, Lat N590454, Nat Grid HX620240. It is now held at the address above. Roman numerals, 4am to 8pm (why not 3am to 9pm?). Anticlockwise EOT scale. Marked with the maker’s name and the design Lat and Long.
