BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

Shows 4am to 8pm in 30 and 7.5 min marks. 2 and 10 min (Arabic) divisions on outer scale with transversals. Inward fleur de lys half hours. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. EoT scale of Watch Faster/Slower type. Two geographical rings of placenames. Oak leaf border. Armorial for Probert family. Thick (1/2 in) double curved gnomon with two rectagular side supporters. Set on elaborate square section stone pedestal with carved shell décor.
