BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Coddington Vineyard, Coddington

High on the vinery building is a circular slate vertical sundial which declines 40°W and was put in place in 2000. Using Arabic numbers it shows the BST hours 10am to 9pm corrected for longitude and divided into halves. The hour lines are rather faint. There is a sunburst at the gnomon root. The motto reads ’In Vino Veritas’ and there is an inscription ’Coddington Vineyard. Denis and Ann Savage. Planted 1984’. The dial plate is decorated with vines and grapes.
