BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Sundial Cottage, Hemel Hempstead

Motto reads: ’Carpe Diem’ (Seize the Day). Shows 8am to 4pm in half and quarter hours. Quarter hours marked by raised rivet design. Sunface at gnomon root. Pierced floral décor at top. Dial appears to decline slightly West. Gnomon has concave undersupporter which is florally pierced.
