BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hertfordshire

Shows 5am to 7pm in half hours. Half hour arrow head markers point inwards. Numerals read from outside the dial. Uses XII and IIII. Split Noon gap. Gnomon arranged wrong way round. Circle at (correct) gnomon root. Rear protruding gnomon under supporter. Set on square section tapered pedestal with square capital and three step square plinth. Memorial to Abel Smith d1930 and his wife Isabella d 1935. Located in churchyard.
