BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hertfordshire

Shows 5am to 7pm in half hours. Noon gap. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. Pitted dialplate. Set inside grave boundary upon a tapered square section stone pedestal with square capital and two step base. Memorial to Charles Vale d1937 and to Edith Vale d1947.
