BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hertfordshire

Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Hour lines with inward arrow heads. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. Design Lat at gnomon root N52 45. Names of JT Benson & N Wood.Octagonal section column with rounded top. With square plinth and no capital. In memory of Thos Bennett decd 1950, his wife decd 1962 and child decd 1969. Very worn dialplate.
