BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hertfordshire

Motto reads: "Sunny Hours". Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, 7.5 min marks. Split Noon line. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. Sunface around gnomon root. Single ’S’ supporter to gnomon. Circles décor. Set on octagonal section column with engraved cross on one side face. Set on double square plinth. In memory of Frederick Iles decd 1934 and wife.
