BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Yorkshire (N)

A memorial dial to Harold Simpson Hughes of Templepatrick, Co Antrim in the style of Thomas Wright. Shows 4am to 8pm in half quarter and eighth hours with 10 and 2 min marks on outer edge and with transversals. Numerals read from outside the dial. Uses XII and IIII. Inward fleurs del lys half hour markers. Noon gap with Nethernooks, West End inscribed within it. EoT rings of Watch faster slower type with modern values. Inscriptions of dedications by family. Sigmoidal gnomon with two semicircular side supporters.
