BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Motto reads: ’I speak not yet all understand me well. I make no sound and yet the hour I tell’. Shows 4am to 8pm in hours and, by dots, to 10 mins.. Half hours not specifically marked. Numerals read from inside the dial. Noon is marked as XII and 4pm as IV. Hour lines do not appear in the chapter ring though do appear outside it. Hour lines in the inner part of the dial are unusually drawn as wriggly lines. Circulate chapter ring on square dialplate - dark patina - with floral décor in the spandrels and on either side of the gnomon. Pierced gnomon which appears to be a monogram. Dial inset into elaborate four pillar support with square capital and base.
