BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Berkshire

The dial is on the old coach house. It is delinated roughly as a direct south dial but shows 11am at noon GMT and is placed on a west facing wall and the hourlines do not converge to the gnomon root. It uses aligned Roman numerals V - XII - IV. It has full length even-hour lines and shorter odd-hour lines. The gnomon has an unusual upward curving ’scythe-blade’ support.
