BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Berkshire

The dial is mounted in a stone surround set in the brick wall of the left south front of the building, with a wide border of flower and leaf scrolling. It shows 7am to 5pm in hours, using XII and IIII, the numerals vertically aligned. The motto reads: ’Light and shade in their turn but love remaineth’.
