BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Michael’s Church, Heighington

The dial is to the east of the south porch. Gatty records the motto as "Dum spectas fugit hora" but this no longer visible. Breakarched dial plate in stone frame canted about 5 degs East. Full length hour lines. Would have shown 6am to 6pm in hours. Now only parts of 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am, 12 1 and 2pm remain. Uses XII. Strip gnomon with ’S’ under supporter. No noon gap.
