BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Old Hall, High Coniscliffe

Circular dial scale on square plate. White painted with blacklines and numerals. Shows hours IX - XII - IIII - VIII (though with VI, VII and VIII reversed) in half hours. Full length hour lines, short half hour ones. Strip gnomon with ’S’ under supporter. Mounted over broken pedimented front door and under an oval cartouche possibly a blocked former window.
