BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Devon

Centre arched pediment. Hour lines to Sun face around gnomon root. Short half hour lines with fleur-de-lys, and quarter hour marks. Winged face below the Sun. Upright numerals VI - [noon] - IIII - VI, with double arrow-head cipher for noon. Canted out on the left side. Ref Mrs Crowley Book 4 No 90.
