BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Devon

Dial now set in to render on wall of house, held by iron dognails. Arched top with initials ’IL’, date 1669 and floral motif. Upright numerals VI - XII - IIII - VI, with hour lines to semicircle around gnomon root, and half- and quarter-hour marks. See Mrs Crowley Book 5 No 118, titled Stockleigh Farm, Shortridge.
