BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Devon

Cube with four direct dial faces. Mottoes across the tops, just legible od S face is ’WEE DYAL’, and on the N face ’...E THOV HERE’. S face upright Arabic numerals 6 - 12 - 6 with full length hour lines only. N face has hour lines and numerals 6, 6, 7, 8 just visible, and illegible remains of a date across the bottom. E face has a Tudor rose, no hour lines now. W has a skeleton, and hours 2, 3, 4, 6, 7. Sketched by Mrs Crowley, Book 4 No 94.
