St Gregory, Seaton

Slightly canted on the parapet of the South transept is a broad rectangular stone dial surmounted by an eroded roughly triangular top bearing the motto "Tempus Fugit" with a ball above it. It shows the hours VII - V undivided, the hour lines continuing through the semicircle at the gnomon root. It measures roughly 600mmw x 400mmh. It is in poor condition and undated though it may have been installed in the late 18th century.
