BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Tetcott Manor, Tetcott

This large slate vertical dial on the porch of the manor house can be seen from the track leading to Tetcott church. It declines 30° east and shows the hours V-III divided into halves and quarters. It has a decorative border at the top but there is a crack in the dial plate. Below the dial is a date stone reading 1603 but this has nothing to do with the dial or with the manor either since it was brought here from Tetcott Mill in ther 20th century. The dial actually dates from the 18th century.
