BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Overseas Dials

A unique dial for Montana showing directions of the sun at sunrise and sunset and its altitude at Noon. Under edge style of gnomon. The top of the gnomon is cut to match the silhouette of Bear’s Paw Mountain on the Eastern horizon. Shows 5am to 7pm [Delin 4am to 8pm] in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. DST in Arabic Nos. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from inside the dial. Nine declination lines, zodiac sigils and pin nodus. Alidade to assist in azimuth determination.
