BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hertfordshire

The dial is set in a levelled grass area near the upper playground. It shows 4am to 8pm in hours, using square numeral plaques, aligned N-S, and having a rectangular slate date scale. The date scale includes solstice and equinox lines and has the School logo (a hound) at the north end.
