BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Antrim

Unusual dial with Venus Fly trap décor at each hour. Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Gilded numerals and hour lines only Half hours marked by inward green fleurs de lys. Initials and crest at south. ’W’ nodus on gnomon and a single declination line for the 28th August. Set on baluster pedestal with acanthus décor and square two step base.
