BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hampshire

Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, 7.5 and (in Arabic 10s), 10 and 2 min marks. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. Noon gap (without lettering but with meridian line in middle). Inward fleurs de lys and outward lozenge ended, arrow half hour markers. EoT Wat(ch) faster/Slower type marked to minutes and for every day of the year. (Zero at Apr 4th) . Ornate floral piercing to gnomon has angle of 51.4 degs. Four external circular lugs (57.5 diam) provide fixings. Set on superb ornate square section pedestal with panelled sides and vertical-flowered edges. With smaller circular capital with matching lugs and larger square base with quadrant cut outs. An excellent dial.
