BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

Motto reads: "Thou by the dial’s shady stealth mayst know time’s thievish progress to eternity" Also a Greek motto. Modern dial with ogee base. Shows 5am to 7pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from inside the dial. Noon gap. Prince of Wales feathers as logo by maker’s name. Lat stated to be N5530. EoT graph at S end. Dial commissioned by owners some 20 years ago (from 2004). Set on square section baluster pedestal with square capital and base.
