BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Norfolk

Motto reads: "Amyddst ye flowres I tell ye houres". Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. Sunface at centre with compass centred on gnomon root. Latitude marked as 52 degs. Set on decorated square section column with thick, square capital and square base. Memorial to Arthur C Brookes d1932 and Brian ST Brookes d1940.
