BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Belchamp Walter Hall, Belchamp Walter

Shows 4am to 8pm [Delin an extra 5 mins each side] in 30, 15 and, in Arabic twenties, in 10 and 2 min marks. Noon gap - without any inserted name or place. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. Half hours marked by outward fleurs de lys and by inward lozenge ended lines. Hour lines pass through numerals. Sigmoidal gnomon with quarter round side supports. Set on fluted octagonal section, downwards tapering, pedestal with octagonal capital and plinth and a square base. Some damage to pedestal.
