BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Leez Priory, Little Leighs

Motto reads: "Sunny Hours". Shows 4am to 8pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial Hour lines pass through numerals. A ’date’ of 1955 is scratched onto the dial between S and SE compass points. All circular rings on the dial are highlighted with tiny punch marks. Possibly hand made? Set on cylindrical broadly fluted column without capital but with circular plinth.
