BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Oxfordshire

Circular horizontal memorial dial. The dial is the best of the twelve currently in this crematorium. A small chapter ring at the gnomon foot labels the hour lines with GMT numbers. The main chapter ring round the outside of the dial has BST hour numbers from 6am to 8pm. Both use Roman numerals aligned with the hour lines and read from inside / the opposite side of the dial. A motto reads: "I count the Sunny Hours alone". The dial is decorated with the names of the seasons and corresponding floral décor. The unusual and high quality open gnomon has a convex curved support. The dial is set on a baluster pedestal with a square capital and stepped base. It is a memorial to Anne Edith Hann d1983.
