BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Oxfordshire

Circular horizontal memorial dial (one of five identical dials in this location). These dials are mass-produced decorative items. As such it is unlikely that they are accurate at this latitude. The motto reads: "Time Flies". Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from inside the dial. Noon gap. Compass is in centre. Knuckleduster gnomon piercing. Set on square section tapered artificial stone pedestal with square top and two step base. Memorial to Michael B Beard d 2000.
